Albert Cheng is the Vice president of Prime video in the US Cheng will oversee the SVOD business in the US, where he will be responsible for revenue growth, profit and loss and improving the performance of the streamer. He will also be responsible for brand strategy, marketing and audience insights for Prime Video in the US, as well as customer acquisition, engagement and retention across both Amazon platforms. Prior to Amazon Studios, he was an executive at The Walt Disney Company for fifteen years in a number of roles. His latest position was as Executive Vice President, Digital Media and Chief Product Officer for Disney/ABC Television Group.
Cheng and his team have also won numerous awards and patents. In 2006, he and his team won the Outstanding Achievement in Advanced Interactive Television (New Delivery Platforms) at the 58th Annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards for their ABC.com Full Episode Player.
