Joann P. Ornelas-Bauer

Joann Ornelas-Bauer has extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Joann started their career as an Environmental Scientist at Fluor, where they managed environmental programs and projects for Fortune 500 and government clients. Joann then joined ComEd, where they held various roles including Quality Assurance Manager, Business Planning & Controls Senior Specialist, and Construction Manager. At Exelon Corp, they worked as a Performance Improvement Manager and Construction Manager, responsible for developing and implementing performance improvement programs. Joann also worked as a Consultant at Comcast, providing process redesign and change management services. Later, at PPL Electric Utilities, they served as the Regional Director of Operations, overseeing the reliable performance of the electric delivery system. Joann’s recent role is as the Chief Executive Officer of Dynamic Utility Solutions, LLC, where they lead the overall direction and strategy of the company, providing electric utility contracting services to utilities and government agencies.

Joann Ornelas-Bauer holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General, which they obtained from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School between 1998 and 2000. Before that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Davis from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their educational background, Joann has certifications in WBE (Women’s Business Enterprise) obtained from WBENC and an MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) from the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council.
