Louise Erdrich ( Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians)

Louise Erdrich is an American author who has published 28 fiction, non-fiction, children’s, and poetry books. An enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, Erdrich’s work regularly features Native American characters and settings. Throughout her career, Erdrich has been a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and received the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award and the National Book Award for Fiction. Some of her published work includes “The Round House” and “The Plague of Doves.”
