Judith Martínez, PhD. is currently an Associate Professor of Literature. She has served as the Provost Fellow for Faculty Development. She has been recognized for her research, teaching, and service. Judith was the recipient of the University Research award, as well as the Board of Governors recognition for her leadership and community involvement. She was awarded the Curtis T. Lawrence Award for Excellence in Teaching from the Honors College, as well as the Teaching Award as Distance Educator. Last year, she earned the Citizenship award for her collegial and supportive spirit towards others. She is also a graduate of leadership Springfield, and she was selected to be the EAB Leadership fellow for the University.
